Kommentar What happened to Andreas Hofer's child, I believe his name was John? What happened to the family after Andreas was killed. There is a story in our family that a descendent was the blacksmith for the Czar of Russia and then members of the family immigrated to America? Any truth to these rumors? I must say that my son looks like a lot like Andreas Hofer to me, from your pictures. Thanks for any help you can give.

Kommentar Hi I have an old medal from Tirol. It has the Norse god (ULLR) on one side. It is a man in winter clothing with skies and a bow and arrow. On the other side is the word TIROL, an eagle, and the date 1809. If you know anything about it please let me know. H. Ramsthaler Thankyou

Kommentar Ist zwar informativ Eure Seite, aber sehr enttäuschend, daß vom Riesenrundgemälde kein downloadbares JPG oder BMP Bild oder dergleichen zu sehen ist!!! Die Besucher in Innsbruck werden Euch schon nicht weglaufen, wenn sie das Bild "ja schon" online gesehen haben!!!!!
